Gaff Point

Location: Coves & Inlets

Unique, unspoiled promontory of 124 acres separates the LaHave estuary and Hartling Bay. It consists of marine, terrestrial and wetland ecosystems. Both sides of the point have steep cliffs; there are tidal pools where topography becomes gentler; and sand and gravel beaches along the shoreline.

This 10 km trail runs between the Chester Connection Trail to the East and the Bay to Bay and Adventure Trails in the Town of Mahone Bay. Access includes hikers, bicycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, skies, and horses.

Bull Run Trail

Location: Beaches & Artisans

This 24 km trail connects to the Centennial Trail in the Town of Bridgewater and to the Region of Queens.  This trail features a covered bridge in the community of Hebbville along with various restaurants and services along the route.  Parking is available at access points along the trail.  Access includes hikers, bicycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, skies, and horses.

This 10 km trail along the “Lunenburg Spur” connects the Towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay and links with both the Adventure Trail and the Dynamite Trail.  Access includes hikers, bicycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, skies, and horses.  Parking is available at access points along the trail.

This 14 km trail runs between the Towns of Mahone Bay and Bridgewater and connects with the Dynamite Trail to the East and the Centennial Trail in the Town of Bridgewater to the West. Access includes hikers, bicycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, skies, and horses.
