Broad Cove Beach
Location: Lunenburg Region
Broad Cove Beach has a nice private sand area, and the cove is partially protected so the water stays relatively calm. With more well-known beaches close by, this beach is much quieter with fewer visitors.
Cherry Hill Beach
Location: Lunenburg Region
Cherry Hill Beach offers a direct route to happiness via its empty curve of fine grey sand, exposed water and endless sky.
A wonderful beach for surfers or a nice place to walk on the rocks and enjoy an afternoon.
This beach is located off the 331 Highway in the community of Cherry Hill.
Directions: Turn at the firehall. Beach access isn’t marked.
Crescent Beach
Location: Petite Riviere & Area
Connecting the historic LaHave Islands to the mainland, this beach stretches like a sandy road beaconing sunseekers, beach explorers, and wave splashers. It is also the only beach in Lunenburg Region where you are allowed to drive a vehicle directly on the sand!
Whether you’re a first-time explorer or returning visitor, you’ll easily see why this gem and the surrounding coastal beauty inspire the work of the area’s many artists.
Please keep pets on leash. No camping permitted onsite.
Green Bay Beach

Green Bay Beach is divided into small sections by boulders, the cove keeps the water surprisingly warm. MacLeod’s Canteen (seasonal) is in close proximity to the beach and has takeout available.
Risser’s Beach Provincial Park

Rissers Beach Provincial Park is found 24 km south of Bridgewater on the Atlantic Coast in Petite Riviere.
