The Lighthouse is the ideal Nova Scotia vacation destination, just 5 minutes from Bridgewater yet close to sandy beaches, stunning lighthouses, museums, shops and the charming and historic towns and villages along Nova Scotia’s Lighthouse Route (Route 331). We feature a variety of accommodation choices ranging from classic retro-style motel rooms (with or without kitchenettes), to Boathouse Studios and Riverfront Cottage.
The Lighthouse is a three acre property with 500 feet of shoreline on the scenic LaHave River. The 15 unit lodging facilities are clean, comfortable and has everything you would need for a Nova Scotia getaway including a small private beach, boat dock, fire pit, BBQs, picnic tables, expansive green space with Adirondack chairs and a children’s play area. Dogs are always welcome and can enjoy a swim with our resident Portuguese Waterdog, Austin. In case you get tired of the outdoors, there’s always complimentary WiFi and flat-screen cable televisions in each room.

Bull Run Trail

A 27km trail connecting the Centennial Trail in the Town of Bridgewater and to the Region of Queens. This trail features a covered bridge in the community of Hebbville along with various restaurants and services along the route.

Broad Cove Beach

Broad Cove Beach has a nice private sand area, and the cove is partially protected so the water stays relatively calm. With more well-known beaches close by, this beach is much quieter with fewer visitors.
Crescent Beach

Blue Rocks
