A great spot to relax, or get acquainted with the outdoors: immerse yourself in the amazing offshore playground and start a guided kayak tour or launch your own kayak from your own private dock, or enjoy complimentary bikes and snowshoes to explore beautiful trails right from the lodge. Whatever your preferred activity, you will find calm waters, wooded trails and quiet country roads. Ask Frauke to arrange a guided fishing or kayak trip or even an on-site chair massage.

Enjoy Mahone Bay’s many festivals, charming shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes and countless smiling locals. Explore neighbouring Lunenburg and Chester or discover beautiful beaches, Kejimkujik National Park, Annapolis Valley or Halifax – all within an hour’s drive.

This bed and breakfast is located off a peaceful riverside road, and offers 2 one-bedroom units, and 1 two-bedroom unit, each with a private ensuite.

River Ridge Lodge is a great spot for groups. Use River Ridge Lodge as a base for events, a girls or boys weekend or simply for a group of friends who would like to get away from it all, perhaps a cycling or kayaking weekend, or simply to just to have some fun.
