Operating for 30 years, the Lunenburg Farmers’ Market is a vibrant community gathering place. It is very common to see our market goers enjoying their morning coffee while chatting with vendors and friends.
We provide a strong, vibrant year-round venue for local vendors. We also showcase local musicians and provide free space to local community groups.
Our vendors come from all over and produce a wide range of fabulous products. Visit our market vendors page for a complete list.
You can visit us every Thursday morning of the year. During the months of May-September we are located at the Lunenburg Arena, hours are 8am – 12pm. In September we move inside the Lunenburg Community Centre. In January our hours change to 8:30am – 12:00pm.

Bay to Bay Trail
Location: Lunenburg Region
A 10 km trail along the “Lunenburg Spur” that connects the Towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Also a short 1 km section from the end of the Back Harbour Trail in Lunenburg to Garden Lots.
Access includes hikers, bicycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, skies, and horses. Parking is available at access points along the trail.
BernArt Art Maze

Canada’s first art maze! There’s nearly a kilometre of paths to explore with lots of concrete sculptures, murals and mosaics created by artists from around the world.

Blue Rocks

A small village about a six minute drive from the Town of Lunenburg. The little community of Blue Rocks is advertised as “Lunenburg’s answer to Peggy’s Cove”. Still a working fishing village with blue slate rocks on the edge of the ocean making it an artisan and photographers muse. The fish shack sitting in the water is the most photographed building in the county.
