Mushamush Beach Park

Mushamush Beach Park is a municipal treasure! Located on Mushamush Lake in Sweetland, it is a pleasant drive from anywhere in our Municipality.
The park is open May through to October from 9 am until dusk for swimming, picnicing, paddling; or a leisurely walk. The lake is shallow with a very low grade making it an excellent swimming area for little ones and those not comfortable in deep water. The LCLC run swimming lessons at this location. The beach is equipped with picnic tables and on-site privies. There is also a children’s swing set.
Come prepared to spend the day. Pack up your swimsuit, beach blanket, shovel and bucket, and maybe a good book. Unfortunately, you will need to leave your pet at home as pets are prohibited. If you are looking for a location that allows pets, all of the other Municipal parks are pet on-leash parks.

Church Lake Access Site

The Church Lake Public Access site includes a parking lot for 3 - 6 vehicles, a dock and boat put-in for canoes, kayaks and small fishing boats. The lake is too shallow for big boats. The dock is wheelchair accessible.
