We provide a strong, vibrant year-round venue for local vendors. We also provide free space for local community groups.

Our vendors come from all over and produce a wide range of fabulous products – fresh seasonal produce, grass-fed meats, free-range eggs, fresh and smoked fish, plants, fresh flowers, cheese, French bread, wine, preserves, honey, maple syrup, beautiful artisan items and more. Visit our market vendors page for a complete list.

You can visit us every Thursday morning of the year. During the months of May-September, we are located at the Lunenburg Arena, hours are 8am – 12pm. In September we move inside the Lunenburg Community Centre. In January our hours change to 8:30 am – 12:00 noon.

The 2023 Annual Mahone Bay Scarecrow Festival is taking place from September 23rd to October 9th at various locations in the Town of Mahone Bay.

Scarecrows will be on display throughout the town during this time frame, and events will be taking place on specific dates. The dates of the events can be found on the Scarecrow Festival & Antique Fair poster below. This festival includes an antique fair, a pumpkin walking path, yard sales, a legion breakfast, and much more! There is fun for the whole family!

At this festival, there will also be the 1st Annual Nova Scotia Fruit Pie Baking Contest & Sale. How exciting! This fun-filled event is happening on September 30th… see the Pie Baking Contest poster below for more information.

Mark your calendars for the finale of the 2023 Music on the Riverbank Season!

The grand finale of the 2023 Music on the Riverbank season will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the heart of Downtown Bridgewater at Pijinuiskaq Park!

We’re planning a full evening of music and all-ages fun, hosted by Events Coordinator and emcee Jonathan Crouse. The event will include the postponed Canada Day fireworks display thanks to the good folks at the Bridgewater Fire Department!

We’ll be announcing our musical entertainment for the evening in the days to come, but performances will start at 6 p.m.

The fireworks display, which will be visible in the Old Bridge and Pijinuiskaq Park area over the river, is scheduled to take place at 8:30 p.m. (weather dependent and at the discretion of the Bridgewater Fire Department fireworks team).
