The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival is a 4 day music festival from August 4-7th, 2022! Get your toes tappin’, grab your camera and get ready for four days of folk music fun for the whole family! Some of the best artists representing traditional and contemporary folk music, from both near and far, will grace stages throughout picturesque Lunenburg. Between salty breezes and sweet harmonies, you will quickly discover why we’re Nova Scotia’s longest running folk music festival. A full overview of the schedule can be found here

FORT POINT SPEAKER SERIES - “The Oak Island Mystery” by Danny Hennigar
Danny Hennigar has had a life-long interest and passion for the history of Oak Island and is well steeped in its facts, fiction and legends. Danny worked as a tour guide on Oak Island for three summers in the 1970s for the Provincial Department of Tourism. He also offered tours of the island from 2005 - 2009 in association with the Oak Island Tourism Society. He has been involved with several made for TV documentaries about the amazing treasure hunt, participated in regional, national and international radio shows, is a writer with many Oak Island related stories to his credit and is an avid amateur historian. He is the Curator of the Explore Oak Island Display at the old Train Station in Chester Nova Scotia and Board member of the Chester Municipal Heritage Society.

From July to September, enjoy ten weeks of FREE Tuesday night musical experiences along the banks of the LaHave River in the pavilion at Pijinuiskaq Park.
