We are happy to join Recreation Nova Scotia’s winter active campaign which helps Nova Scotians of all ages improve their health and quality of life by being active during the winter months! Come out and enjoy skating, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, playing in the snow or sliding. Warm-up around an afternoon bonfire with roasted marshmallows! Skis, snowshoes, and sleds are available to use free of charge during the program on a first-come, first-served basis! Weather permitting.

We’re excited to explore our newest trail and follow the scenic LaHave River. This walk will involve multiple hills. Meet in the Municipal Services Building parking lot. Approximately 4km.
Join us for this fun, hands-on workshop with Certified Reflexologist Rachael Jessup! Discover the wonders of Indian Head Massage, its origins, and learn techniques you can do at home to aid your self-care. Some of the benefits include: helps with headaches, relieves neck and shoulder tension, improves circulation, and so much more. Everyone can benefit from Indian Head Massage. We will be working the head and face. Take-home worksheets provided. Ages 19+.

Join us for one of our most popular annual events – the Easter Egg Hunt! Participants will be divided into age categories to find Easter eggs throughout the MARC property followed by games, snacks, face painting, and more. Every child will receive an Easter prize! The Easter Bunny will be hoppy to see you! Dress for the outdoors. Bring a bag or basket for gathering eggs.
