Westhavers Beach
Location: Lunenburg Region
Only 6 minutes away from the Town of Mahone Bay, Westhavers is the closest spot to relax at the beach. Calm rustling waves make up this sand and stone beach which is frequent to walkers combing the shores for hidden treasures. No services on site.
Spindler’s Beach
Location: Lunenburg Region
Also called Feltzen South Beach to some, this quiet blue sand beach is a great sheltered beach for children to play as there is a calm surf. Parking along the road is limited. There are no services at the beach area.
Also provides a view across Lunenburg Harbour to Blue Rocks.

Oxner’s Beach
Location: Lunenburg Region
Welcome to Oxner’s Beach, a private 63 acre beach and marsh owned by the surrounding landowners. You are encouraged to use the beach and marsh for personal recreation only – swimming, bird watching, nature walks. Do not walk or park vehicles on dunes or grasses as they provide nesting for birds and prevent the sand from shifting. No commercial enterprises allowed. Mushamush Beach Park
Location: Lunenburg Region
Mushamush Beach Park is a municipal treasure! Located on Mushamush Lake in Sweetland, it is a pleasant drive from anywhere in our Municipality.The park is open May through to October from 9 am until dusk for swimming, picnicing, paddling; or a leisurely walk. The lake is shallow with a very low grade making it an excellent swimming area for little ones and those not comfortable in deep water. The LCLC run swimming lessons at this location.
